These are the references that affect current Go users.
I left intact references in older release notes;
we can figure out what to do with them later.

Wrong article, one stylistic point that bothers someone (but not me).

This new text won't stop the whining but it might focus the whining a little more.

This CL adjusts code referring to src/pkg to refer to src.
Immediately after submitting this CL, I will submit
a change doing 'hg mv src/pkg/* src'.
That change will be too large to review with Rietveld
but will contain only the 'hg mv'.
This CL will break the build.
The followup 'hg mv' will fix it.
For more about the move, see golang.org/s/go14nopkg.

golang.org now serves HTTPS with a valid cert, so it's reasonable
that users should click through to the HTTPS versions of *.golang.org
and other known sites.

Currently tip.golang.org leads to golang.org and
local godoc also leads to golang.org (when you don't have internet connectivity).

They aren't segmented any more, at least with gc.
Also improve the comparison of goroutines and threads.

That page may be fine for experienced Go programmers
but it's not really targeting new programmers.
There's too much we don't know yet.

The assembly offsets were converted mechanically using
code.google.com/p/rsc/cmd/asmlint. The instruction
changes were done by hand.
Fixes#2188.

About 10% for hello, world.
Maybe more reductions will come.
Also clarify that we're comparing printf against Printf
(gcc can optimize aggressively, making this a different
sort of comparison).

This allows HTML pages to specify arbitrary data in a header:
<!--{
"Title": "The page title",
...
}-->
replacing the old style comments:
<!-- title The page title -->
