0. Restore the files under fvwm/modules

1. Change the current directory to FvwmConsole

2. Modify your Imakefile

   Comment out the line, '#define HAVE_READLINE', if you don't
   have GNU readline library.

   If you have Perl 5.002 or later and want to use FvwmConsoleC.pl
   editor, insert '#define HAVE_PERL5.002

3. Run 'xmkmf;make'.

4. Run 'make install'.

5. Run 'make install.man' to install man pages.
