.SH DESCRIPTION
\%\f3glGenLists\fP has one argument, \f2range\fP.
It returns an integer \f2n\fP such that \f2range\fP contiguous
empty display lists,
named \f2n\fP, \f2n\fP+1, ..., \f2n\fP+\f2range\fP \-1,
are created.
If \f2range\fP is 0,
if there is no group of \f2range\fP contiguous names available,
or if any error is generated,
no display lists are generated,
and 0 is returned.

\%\f3GL_INVALID_VALUE\fP is generated if \f2range\fP is negative.
