Currently "arr[idx] |= 0x80" is compiled to MOVLload->BTSL->MOVLstore. And this CL optimizes it to a single BTSLconstmodify. Other bit wise operations with a direct memory operand are also implemented. 1. The size of the executable bin/go decreases about 4KB, and the total size of pkg/linux_amd64 (excluding cmd/compile) decreases about 0.6KB. 2.
