7419921bf3 net: platform-dependent default socket options
This CL revises existing platform-dependent default socket
options to make it possible to accomodate multiple multicast
datagram listeners on a single service port.

Also removes unnecessary SO_REUSEADDR, SO_REUSEPORT socket
options from unicast datagram sockets by default.

Fixes #1692.

cf4acf80b4 net, syscall: remove BindToDevice API from UDPConn, IPConn
For now a pair of socket options SOL_SOCKET and SO_BINDTODEVICE
is supported on Linux only. I'd like to demote BindToDevice API
to syscall level because it's Linux dependent one.

In the near future, probably we may have a bit more portable
API that using IPROTO_IP/IPV6 level socket options to specify,
identify an inbound, outbound IP interface on incoming, outgoing
UDP and raw IP packets.

4b749567b8 net: fix socket leak in case of Dial failure
Socket descriptors are not closed when fd.connect() fails during generic socket creation.
After a connection failure [ECONNREFUSED] descriptors are left in SYN_SENT state indefinitely (unless they get an explicit RST). Repeated failed connections will eventually cause your program to hit the user/system max-open-files limit.

Fixes #2349.

2715956f13 build: add build comments to core packages
The go/build package already recognizes
system-specific file names like

        mycode_darwin.go
        mycode_darwin_386.go
        mycode_386.s

However, it is also common to write files that
apply to multiple architectures, so a recent CL added
to go/build the ability to process comments
listing a set of conditions for building. For example:

        // +build darwin freebsd openbsd/386

says that this file should be compiled only on
OS X, FreeBSD, or 32-bit x86 OpenBSD systems.

These conventions are not yet documented
(hence this long CL description).

This CL adds build comments to the multi-system
files in the core library, a step toward making it
possible to use go/build to build them.

With this change go/build can handle crypto/rand,
exec, net, path/filepath, os/user, and time.

os and syscall need additional adjustments.

0793176451 net: move bind back to sock.go
It was left in netFD.connect() by an oversight (as the name
implies, bind has no business being in connect). As a result
of this change and by only calling netFD.connect() when ra
isn't nil it becomes simpler with less code duplication.

Additionally, if netFD.connect() fails, set sysfd to -1 to
avoid finalizers (e.g. on windows) calling shutdown on a
closed and possibly reopened socket that just happened to
share the same descriptor.

2f45f72dce net: implement non-blocking connect
Refactored bind/connect from sock.go into netFD.connect(), as
a consequence newFD() doesn't accept laddr/raddr anymore, and
expects an (optional) call to netFD.connect() followed by a
call to netFD.setAddr().
Windows code is updated, but still uses blocking connect,
since otherwise it needs support for ConnectEx syscall.

41f93a430f net: drop laddr from Dial, cname from LookupHost; new functions
Drop laddr argument from Dial.

Drop cname return from LookupHost.

Add LookupIP, LookupCNAME, ParseCIDR, IP.Equal.
Export SplitHostPort, JoinHostPort.
Add AAAA (IPv6) support to host lookups.

Preparations for implementing some of the
lookups using cgo.

ParseCIDR and IP.Equal are logically new in this CL
but accidentally snuck into an earlier CL about unused
labels that was in the same client.

In crypto/tls, drop laddr from Dial to match net.

a3d1045fb7 1) Change default gofmt default settings for
parsing and printing to new syntax.

Use -oldparser to parse the old syntax,
use -oldprinter to print the old syntax.

2) Change default gofmt formatting settings
to use tabs for indentation only and to use
spaces for alignment. This will make the code
alignment insensitive to an editor's tabwidth.

Use -spaces=false to use tabs for alignment.

3) Manually changed src/exp/parser/parser_test.go
so that it doesn't try to parse the parser's
source files using the old syntax (they have
   new syntax now).

4) gofmt -w src misc test/bench

3rd set of files.

c83b838641 package net cleanup
added ReadFrom/WriteTo for packet protocols like UDP.
simplified the net.Conn interface.
added new net.PacketConn interface for packet protocols.
implemented proper UDP listener.

cleaned up LocalAddr/RemoteAddr methods - cache in netFD.

threw away various unused methods.

an interface change:
introduced net.Addr as a network address interface,
to avoid conversion of UDP host:port to string and
back for every ReadFrom/WriteTo sequence.

another interface change:
since signature of Listener.Accept was changing anyway,
dropped the middle return value, because it is available
as c.RemoteAddr(). (the Accept signature predates the
existence of that method.)

Dial and Listen still accept strings, but the proto-specific
versions DialTCP, ListenUDP, etc. take net.Addr instead.

because the generic Dial didn't change and because
no one calls Accept directly (only indirectly via the http
server), very little code will be affected by these interface
changes.

design comments welcome.
